Our Clara has been dancing with us for a long time. And beautiful!
Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, Step, Solo swing… He’s right at home in all of it.
Take a lesson with her at Zig-Zag and get to know her intimate approach to dance.
How did you come to swing?
All my life I have looked forward to being able to use this phrase in such an accurate context: just like the blind to the violin. So, thank you. My friend once played Ondrej Havelka and said that it was supposedly danceable. I just turned up my nose that it wasn’t for me, that the twenties game here didn’t seem right (I was only twenty, so don’t judge me for my judgement). I watched a few videos that evening and the next day I called Zig-Zag to see if we could get started. “Could we come today?”, I can still hear myself asking Zdeněk…
Your favourite dance figure?
I don’t care about pathos… The kind that makes me smile.
Who do you like to teach and why?
I like people best, but also cowboys, dolls or animals.
